PRF aka the Natural Filler

When thinking of PRF, three words come to mind…refresh, rejuvenate, restore. Not only is PRF itself natural, it also provides natural looking-results! We love being able to offer this revolutionary new treatment to our clients.

What is PRF?

PRF (platelet-rich fibrin), is the next generation treatment of platelet concentrate, more advanced than PRP.

Often referred to as “liquid gold,” this treatment requires nothing “foreign” to be injected into the body because it uses your own blood products to stimulate youth using your own growth factors. PRF is a fibrin matrix comprised of platelet cytokines, growth factors and cells used to help promote skin rejuvenation, hair growth and wound healing. This all-natural solution is used to treat areas that show signs of aging such as: under eyes, cheeks, lips and scalp.

Not a candidate for Botox and filler? PRF is your answer. Do you desire natural and gradual results? Then you are a great candidate for this treatment.

How does it work?

PRF treatments start by drawing a sample of your blood and processing it through a centrifuge to isolate the PRF. Then, the PRF is injected into the desired area, providing all of those amazing healing properties found in the fibrin. A lot of the data on PRF comes from orthopedic and dental applications, it is new to the med spa scene. It provides a lot of benefits and produces amazing results!

Results

PRF can improve existing youthful fat, reduce appearance of dark circles and stimulate healthy skin. It can regrow hair, fill in hollowing, plump up lips and gives a much more natural look than filler. We never want you to look frozen or fake. It takes around four to six weeks for the restorative healing to take place. For under-eye treatments, we usually recommend three treatments. The results of PRF are truly impressive, especially when added to micro-needling. The combination improves the texture of your skin while also building up collagen underneath.
